Snow Likely In Parts Of NJ Wednesday: See Expected Totals
Forecasters are monitoring another round of winter weather expected to hit New Jersey on Wednesday. Here's the latest.
NEW JERSEY — Following severe thunderstorms that wiped out power for thousands of New Jersey households on Monday night, forecasters are predicting more inclement weather heading toward the Garden State. This time, it’s in the form of snow.
Parts of the state are expected to see up to 4 inches of snow on Wednesday, according to the National Weather Service, with the most accumulation in the far-northwestern region of the state on grassy, unpaved terrain. Other areas of the state may get a wintry mix of rain and snow, including those over the Interstate 95 corridor.
The snowfall is anticipated to begin after 10 a.m. Wednesday and fizzle out before 7 p.m.

Between 2 to 4 inches of snow are expected to fall in parts of Sussex and Passaic counties, according to NJ.com.

“Plan on slippery road conditions. The hazardous conditions could impact the Wednesday morning commute,” the National Weather Service said in a statement.
The weather forecast update comes as many New Jersey residents are still reeling from Monday’s storm.
As of 7:30 a.m., over 11,400 households serviced by JCP&L were still left without power. The most widespread outages were reported in Morris, Hunterdon and Somerset counties. Read more: Wind Cuts Power To 12,000 NJ Homes, Brings Trees On Top Of Homes
