99-Year-Old World War 2 Veteran Honored With Drive-By Parade In Basking Ridge

BASKING RIDGE, NJ — Bernards Township Police Officers conducted a drive-by birthday parade for Harry Epple, a World War 2 veteran, on Saturday.

Epple was celebrating his 99th birthday on Saturday.

"Our officers were truly honored to assist in celebrating the 99th birthday of World War II veteran Mr. Harry Epple," said Bernards Township Police Chief Timothy King. "It was a privilege to stand with him in recognizing his service, sacrifice, and the legacy he represents. Moments like this remind us of the importance of honoring those who paved the way for the freedoms we enjoy today."
