• Basking Ridge Firefighter Honored For 50 Years Of Service (patch.com) — Longtime Basking Ridge firefighter Mike Delgado has been celebrated by township, state, and federal officials for an extraordinary 50 years of volunteer service with Basking Ridge Fire Company No. 1. Local leaders praised his decades of leadership, countless emergency responses, and community traditions, highlighting how rare such long-term volunteer commitment has become in Bernards Township.
   

• Bernards Township OKs $8 Million in School Upgrades — Turf Field, Roof Replacements, Track Resurfacing Among Projects (tapinto.net) — Bernards Township has approved about $8 million in upgrades to Basking Ridge school facilities, including a new turf field, track resurfacing, and two roof replacements. Funded through capital and maintenance reserves, the work targets Ridge High School, Mount Prospect School, and Cedar Hill School to improve safety, drainage, and athletic amenities for students and the wider community.
