Sophia Is 'Kind, Diligent, Hardworking': Basking Ridge Star Student

BASKING RIDGE, NJ — Star Students are found in classrooms, on concert and theater stages and at debate lecterns, and out in the community doing good things to make life better for all of us.

Here at Patch, we've launched an initiative to help recognize Star Students, and we’re working to tell the stories of these outstanding kids to their neighbors.

Sophia is a kind, diligent, hard-working, and forward-thinking individual who loves to help others. She works very hard in school, excels academically, plays on her HS tennis team, volunteers at the local elementary school, and during the summertime, works in a research laboratory to pursue her dream of becoming a healthcare professional in the future.

What's one thing you want everyone to know about the star local student?

Sophia loves to help other people by giving back to her community. She enjoys working with elementary school kids through after-school tutoring and working hard to make future impact in our neighborhood.
