2 Cars Stolen In Bloomfield Prior To Holidays, Police Say

A car owner left his vehicle running near a barber shop. Another victim parked his car in the driveway – and found it missing the next day.

BLOOMFIELD, NJ — Two cars were stolen in Bloomfield during the week before Christmas, police say.

The Bloomfield Police Department released the following details about each theft:

Dec. 22 – “Officers responded to the area of Lawrence Street on report of a motor vehicle theft. A resident parked his vehicle in his driveway overnight and the following morning he noticed it was missing. The vehicle, a white 2005 Honda Civic, was entered as stolen. This incident is under investigation.”

Dec. 23 – “Officers responded to the 300-block of Ampere Parkway on report of a motor vehicle theft. The complainant left his vehicle unlocked and running near the barber shop while he was getting a haircut. When he returned, the vehicle was missing. The vehicle, a black 2023 Nissan Rogue, was entered as stolen. This incident is under investigation.”
