2 Cars Stolen In Bloomfield: See Where Latest Thefts Happened
Two vehicles were stolen in Bloomfield last week, with one of them later recovered in a nearby city, authorities said.

BLOOMFIELD, NJ — Two vehicles were stolen in Bloomfield last week, with one of them later recovered in a nearby city, authorities announced Wednesday.
The Bloomfield Police Department released the following details about two recent car thefts in the township:
June 24 – Officers responded to 154 Bloomfield Avenue (Elite Auto) after getting a report about a motor vehicle theft. According to the manager, a 2020 Dodge Durango was driven off the lot on June 23 by an unknown male suspect. The vehicle was recovered the following day via LoJack in Newark. This incident is under investigation, police said.

June 28 – Officers responded to the area of Donald Street after getting a report about a motor vehicle theft. A resident last saw his vehicle parked in front of his home at 10 a.m. When he returned to the area at 6 p.m., he noticed it was missing. The vehicle, a gray 2002 Jeep Grand Cherokee, was entered as stolen. This incident is under investigation, police said.
