Another Bloomfield Deli Closes On Hoover Avenue

BLOOMFIELD, NJ — Another Bloomfield deli has closed up shop at 220 Hoover Avenue.
On Thursday, Benny’s Deli Café posted the following message on its social media channels: “We are sorry to say that we had to close up shop. Just want to thank everyone for all their support … we appreciate it and we’re sorry that we had to go. Thank you, everyone.”
The announcement stunned some local residents and customers, who wished the owners the best of luck moving forward.

“Your food was incredible,” one person commented. “Sending you positive vibes for your future endeavors.”

The deli – which opened earlier this year – is the second such business to recently call it quits at 220 Hoover Avenue.
