The brewery gave some background about its latest promotion – and the doggo that inspired it:

“This one’s been a long time coming—and it’s one that means a lot to us. Back in 2019, we adopted our dog Jersey from the Bloomfield Animal Shelter. She quickly became Mark’s brewing sidekick in the garage, helping to inspire the early recipes that would become Varitage staples. Now it’s Jersey’s turn to shine.”

The new beer – Jersey’s Helles – is described as a “crisp, classic German-style Helles.”
