Bloomfield GSP Crash Prompts Delays Tuesday Morning: DOT

BLOOMFIELD, NJ - A Garden State Parkway crash in Bloomfield has prompted commuting delays in the area Tuesday morning, authorities said.

As of 7:56 a.m., there’s a crash on the Garden State Parkway northbound south of Exit 149 - CR 506 in Bloomfield, according to the New Jersey Department of Transportation.

The right shoulder of the parkway is currently blocked, the agency said.

Tuesday’s stormy weather has prompted motorists to be careful on the roads. As of Tuesday morning, the entire state is under a flood watch, according to the National Weather Service.
