BLOOMFIELD, NJ — It’s back, Bloomfield.

For the third straight year, the Bloomfield Center Alliance (BCA) is hosting Bloomfield Center Restaurant Week to promote downtown restaurants. This year, more than a dozen local eateries will offer a mix of pre-fixe menus and special deals from Wednesday, Sept. 28 to Sunday, Oct. 2, including some that recently opened their doors in the township (see the full list below, and learn more here).

“This promotion is a wonderful opportunity for friends and family to make plans and come together in Bloomfield Center where they can take advantage of various deals and delicious meals,” said Ollyn Lettman, director of the Bloomfield Center Alliance.

“It is exciting to note that each year that we have done Restaurant Week, the lineup includes one or more recently opened restaurants proving that Bloomfield Center is emerging as a destination of choice for entrepreneurs and diners,” Lettman added.

This year’s restaurant week will also include a chance for visitors to enjoy some complimentary music, too. According to the BCA:

Bloomfield Center Restaurant Week is one of several events the BCA puts on to promote the downtown and attract visitors. Its popular weekly alfresco dining series, “Dinner Under the Stars,” provides live entertainment and outdoor dining on Washington Street.

And earlier this year, the organization hosted two downtown Walking Food Tours, where more than 40 “foodies” were led on fact filled walk around the district. Along the way, the groups visited four different restaurants to sample delicious treats and meet the restaurant owners and chefs.
