Bloomfield Special Education Teacher Has 'Heart Of Gold,' Parent Says

Why do you believe the teacher should be recognized or honored?

Children with developmental delays requires someone with a heart of gold or special gift in teaching. This teacher goes all out to make sure none of her students are left behind. I had the opportunity to see her teach her students during the COVID era, when classes were virtual. She is very patient and loves her students. She has a way of guiding and encouraging her students to participate in the lessons being taught. Myself and some parents were not surprised when at the end of the school year, the students who moved on from her class had improved immensely, have found their voices, and are performing much better.

What's one thing you want everyone to know about the teacher?

She is very devoted to her work.
