Bloomfield Star HS Wrestler Wins Her 4th State Championship

BLOOMFIELD, NJ — Make that a historic four-peat for Kira Pipkins.

The Bloomfield High School wrestling standout recently captured her fourth state championship, earning a big cheer from an excited community.

“We are proud of her accomplishments, both on and off the mat,” the Bloomfield Public School District wrote, congratulating the teen – who also earns high marks in the classroom – on her historic accomplishment.

Pipkins’ historic feat inspired a celebration on her return from Atlantic City, as seen on social media.
