Bloomfield Youth Baseball Teams Honored For Championship Wins

BLOOMFIELD, NJ — It was an evening for “Beasts” and “Tigers” in Bloomfield.
The Bloomfield Town Council took a moment to shine the spotlight on two local youth sports teams at their meeting on Monday: the Bloomfield 9U Beasts travel Baseball Team, and the Bloomfield 11U Tigers travel Baseball Team.
The Beasts captured the USABL championship, defeating the Wayne Warriors Team on Nov. 3. Meanwhile, the Tigers captured a fall league championship, defeating the Rockland Elite Baseball Club in West Haverstraw, New York on Nov. 4.
