Bloomfield Youth Get Free Dental Care For ‘Give Kids a Smile Day’
Some kids in Bloomfield have brighter smiles thanks to a free dental care event.
BLOOMFIELD, NJ — Some kids in Bloomfield have brighter smiles thanks to a free dental care event that took place last week.
The Delta Dental of New Jersey Foundation recently supported “Give Kids a Smile Day” and had associate volunteers lending a helping hand on Feb. 3 at KinderSmile Community Oral Health Center in Bloomfield.
“Give Kids a Smile” Day was launched nationally by the American Dental Association in 2003, and provides underserved children with access to dental care.

In Bloomfield, Delta Dental volunteers engaged with youngsters in the waiting room, and the Delta Dental of New Jersey Foundation provided KinderSmile with a $10,000 grant to support their Give Kids A Smile Day events.
KinderSmile Foundation expects to provide 350 kids aged 12 and under across their three New Jersey locations with more than $100,000 in free dental services this year.
