BLOOMFIELD, NJ — A burglar snuck into a restaurant in Bloomfield through an exhaust fan last week, getting away with $50 in cash from the register, police said Thursday.

The Bloomfield Police Department released the following statement about the burglary, which took place on Aug. 12:

“Officers responded to 7 First Avenue (Juke Joint) on report of a commercial burglary. According to the complainant, an unknown male gained entry to the business overnight through a rear exhaust fan and stole $50 from the cash register. Video surveillance was recovered. This incident is under investigation.”

Bloomfield police released surveillance photos of the suspect, which can be seen below.
