County Clerk at Library, Vaccination Program

The Essex County Clerk’s office will hold its monthly outreach office hours at the Bloomfield Library on Wednesday from 2 p.m. to 8 p.m. Check www.essexclerk.com for more information. 

Throughout August, the Bloomfield Health Department is reaching out to students returning to college with to offer vaccinations for a nominal fee. Call 973-680-4058 to set up an appointment or for more information. 

Bloomfield's United Way is selling raffle tickets for the group's annual 50/50. They are looking to sell 200 tickets at $100 a shot. The drawing will be held halftime at the Bloomfield High School homecoming game on Saturday, Oct. 26. Email info@unitedwaybloomfield.org, call 973-748-1732 or stop by 385 Broad St. 

The Bloomfield Photography Club is looking for new members. They hold meetings on Wednesday nights at 7 at the Bloomfield Civic Center on 84 Broad Street.

Mother-daughter duo Heavenly Harp perform "Serenity” at the  Holy Trinity Lutheran Church on 158 Vreeland Ave. in Nutley on Thursday.  The concert features peaceful harp, flute and vocal performances of popular favorites, light classical music and more.  We are pleased to host them in concert during their summer tour.
