ESSEX COUNTY, NJ — How much does gasoline cost in Essex County? As of Thursday, drivers can fuel up for less than $3 per gallon at several local gas stations, according to an online price tracker.

Gas was selling below three bucks at several local stations in Essex County, according to GasBuddy. Some locations with prices under $3 (cash price) include:

The average cost of a gallon of gas in New Jersey was $3.03 as of Thursday afternoon. The lowest price was $2.71, which was reported at gas stations in Freehold (Eagle), Fords (Fuel 4) and Ewing (BP).
