Anthony Hopkins portrays the titular famed director in Hitchcock, screening for free Thursday at the Bloomfield Library from 12:15pm to 2:45pm in the little theater. Throughout August, the Bloomfield Health Department is reaching out to students returning to college with to offer vaccinations for a nominal fee. Call 973-680-4058 to set up an appointment or for more information. Bloomfield's United Way is selling raffle tickets for their annual 50/50. They are looking to sell 200 tickets at $100 a shot. The drawing will be held halftime at the Bloomfield High School homecoming game on Saturday, Oct. 26. Email info@unitedwaybloomfield.org, call 973-748-1732 or stop by their office on 385 Broad St for tickets and information.  Mother-daughter duo Heavenly Harp perform "Serenity" at the  Holy Trinity Lutheran Church on 158 Vreeland Ave. in Nutley on Thursday.  The concert features peaceful harp, flute and vocal performances of popular favorites, light classical music and more.  We are pleased to host them in concert during their summer tour.
