LGBTQ+ Pride Month In Bloomfield: See 2025 Events
"Bloomfield is a stronger, more welcoming place because of the diversity and resilience of our residents," the town's mayor said.
BLOOMFIELD, NJ — The Township of Bloomfield will partner with Bloomfield Pride to celebrate LGBTQ+ Pride Month this June.
The monthlong series of “inclusive, community-centered events” is taking place with the help of the Bloomfield Public Library, Bloomfield Center Alliance and other local organizations, according to a municipal news release.
“Pride Month is a time to celebrate the LGBTQ+ community and to reaffirm our commitment to equality and inclusion,” Mayor Jenny Mundell said.

“Bloomfield is a stronger, more welcoming place because of the diversity and resilience of our residents, and we are proud to support Bloomfield Pride in its efforts to foster visibility, connection, and acceptance,” Mundell added.
Festivities began with a kickoff celebration, “Pride Under the Stars,” on Thursday in Bloomfield Center. See the remaining schedule of events below (all events are free and open to the public):

“Our goal this year was to create events that reflect the love, resilience, and creativity of the LGBTQ+ community in Bloomfield,” said Mary Valentine, founding organizer of Bloomfield Pride.
“We’re especially grateful for the many new and energized volunteers who have stepped up this year – thanks to them, this is shaping up to be our best year yet,” Valentine said.
