Man In Van Steals Cooking Oil From Bloomfield Supermarket: Police
The suspect connected a hose to a container filled with used cooking oil, drained the container and fled the scene, Bloomfield police said.
BLOOMFIELD, NJ — Someone recently stole used cooking oil from a supermarket in Bloomfield, police say.
The Bloomfield Police Department released the following statement about the theft, which was reported on Dec. 22:
“Officers responded to 8 Franklin Street (Stop & Shop) on report of a theft. According to the loss prevention officer, a male exited a van and connected a hose to a container filled with used cooking oil. The suspect drained the container and then fled the scene.”
Police are investigating the theft, authorities said.
