‘Shop Small’ At The Bloomfield Center Sidewalk Sale: Weekend Event

The local sidewalk sale will feature 21 retailers, salons, fitness studios and restaurants. It takes place on Saturday, Sept. 13.

Coming off a very successful "Dinner Under the Stars" season, the Bloomfield Center Alliance (BCA) is excited to announce a new event that is aimed at attracting people to the town's main shopping district, where they can walk its streets and visit a number of businesses offering great deals and fun experiences for the entire family.

The first annual Bloomfield Center Sidewalk Sale, scheduled for Saturday, Sept. 13 from noon to 6 p.m., will feature 21 downtown retailers, salons, fitness studios, and restaurants. Each business will set up a table or stand in front of their location to sell merchandise, offer free giveaways, and/or host engaging activities for the public.

BCA staff will be set up at two "check-in" locations where visitors can go to pick up color-coded maps listing the participating businesses and their addresses. The first will be at the Six Points Plaza (corner of Bloomfield Avenue and Glenwood Avenue). The second will be at Venner Park (640 Bloomfield Avenue).
