There is a good chance of precipitation on Wednesday in the Caldwell area, forecasters said. Will it be rain – or snow?
CALDWELLS, NJ — The Caldwell area is expected to see a rainy day on Wednesday, and it may include some snow. The good news? “Little or no snow accumulation” is expected, weather forecasters say.
According to the National Weather Service (NWS), snow and a wintry mix are in store as a frigid stretch continues in New Jersey. The highest chance of snow is in the northwestern corner of the state, which could see up to 1 inch, forecasters said.

There is a 90 percent chance of precipitation on Wednesday in the Caldwell area, forecasters said.

Wednesday: Rain, mainly after 1pm. High near 41. Wind chill values between 20 and 30. Southwest wind 8 to 13 mph, with gusts as high as 32 mph. Chance of precipitation is 90%. New precipitation amounts between a tenth and quarter of an inch possible.
Wednesday Night: A 20 percent chance of rain before 1am. Cloudy, then gradually becoming partly cloudy, with a low around 29. Wind chill values between 20 and 25. Southwest wind 10 to 13 mph, with gusts as high as 25 mph.
Thursday: Mostly sunny, with a high near 35. Wind chill values between 20 and 25. West wind 15 to 17 mph, with gusts as high as 34 mph.
Thursday Night: Partly cloudy, with a low around 24. West wind 9 to 15 mph, with gusts as high as 31 mph.
