$10,000 Lottery Tickets Sold in Cherry Hill, Pennsauken

Third-prize tickets hit in the Mega Millions and Powerball drawings.

While New Jersey’s big Mega Millions lottery winner came from the northern half of the state, there was a pretty decent consolation prize locally.

A winning third-prize ticket—good for $10,000—was sold at Pathmark on Church Road in the March 19 drawing, just before the jackpot hit, state lottery officials said.

Another $10,000 winner was sold in Somerset County for the same drawing.

In this week's Powerball jackpot drawing, a third-prize ticket, also good for $10,000, was sold at M&M Liquors on Haddonfield Road in Pennsauken.

“Congratulations to the fortunate lottery players who purchased the winning tickets and to the retailers that sold them,” said Carole Hedinger, the lottery’s executive director, in a statement.
