Double Homicide Under Investigation In Camden: Prosecutor
The victims, both in their early 20s, were pronounced dead at the hospital that night, authorities said.
CAMDEN, NJ — A shooting that killed two men on Saturday night in Camden is under investigation.
It happened just before 11 p.m. around the 600 block of Elm Street.
Officers found one of the victims outside on the 600 block of North 5th Street, which is nearby. The victim — later identified as Francisco Benavides, 21, of Pennsauken — was brought to Cooper University Hospital, where he was pronounced dead at 11:42 p.m., authorities said.

A second victim — Luis Delgado, 22, of Camden — was dropped off at the hospital and pronounced dead at 11:34 p.m., according to the Camden County Prosecutor's Office.
The investigation remains ongoing, and no arrests have been announced as of 2 p.m. Monday.
