Bakery To Close Just Months After Expanding To Collingswood
Tesoro Macaron Bakery expanded to Collingswood earlier this year. Its flagship location in Swedesboro will remain open.
COLLINGSWOOD, NJ — A bakery will permanently close its Collingswood location, just months after it opened.
Tesoro Macaron Bakery is shutting down the Collingswood store to focus on its flagship location in Swedesboro. The last day of business at the location will be Dec. 24.
Owner Tabatha Griffith opened the original location two years ago in Swedesboro. The bakery specializes in macarons — a sweet, French delicacy typically made with almond flour, egg whites, sugar and food coloring.

In March, Tesoro Macaron Bakery opened a satellite location in Collingswood. Griffith called the upcoming closure a "bittersweet" decision.
"This isn't goodbye—it's a step forward toward focusing on creating even more magic at our flagship Swedesboro store," Griffith wrote on Tesoro Macaron Company's Facebook page. "While we'll miss seeing your faces here, the future is bright for Tesoro."

In December, the Collingswood location will be open on weekends. There will be special hours for Christmas pickups on Dec. 24 — the bakery's last day in the borough.
