Camden County Armed-Robbery Suspect Remains At Large: Police

The person lifted his sweatshirt to show an employee 'what appeared to be a firearm,' authorities said.

COLLINGSWOOD, NJ — An individual committed armed robbery Monday evening at Boost Mobile in Collingswood, authorities said. Now local police seek the suspect's identity.

Officers responded to the Route 130 store at about 6:30 p.m. for a reported armed robbery in progress. The suspect lifted his sweatshirt to show an employee "what appeared to be a firearm" in his waistband, police said. He then demanded that the worker open the cash register before he proceeded to take money and flee on foot, according to law enforcement.

The suspect was gone by the time police arrived and was last seen entering Harleigh Cemetery. Police described him as a Black male with a tall, thin build, wearing a tan fedora, rose-colored sweatshirt and pants, a black face mask, and white sneakers.
