Collingswood Man Arrested in Camden Shooting

Julian Santos, 20, is being held on $125,000 bail after allegedly firing at a man in the city on Sunday. His 23-year-old girlfriend also was shot in the hand, possibly in a retaliatory incident.

A Collingswood man whom prosecutors believe could have been involved in a pair of shootings in Camden City is being held on $125,000 bail.

At some point on Sunday, 20-year-old Julian Santos shot at a man on 29th and Pierce, but did not hit him, according to a statement from the Camden County Prosecutor's Office.

Then, around 4:20 p.m., Santos and his girlfriend, a 23-year-old Camden woman, were reportedly fired upon while traveling in a Buick Century in the area of 32nd and Pierce streets.

The woman was shot in the hand and was sent to Cooper University Hospital in Camden for treatment; Santos was unharmed. Police are investigating whether any connection exists between the two incidents.

Santos was charged with unlawful possession of a weapon and possession of a weapon for an unlawful purpose. He is being held on $125,000 bail.
