Norcross, Gustafson, React To SCOTUS Overturning Roe V. Wade
Norcross is a Democrat and Gustafson is a Republican.

NEW JERSEY — U.S. Representative Donald Norcross (NJ-01) said he was appalled at the U.S. Supreme Court's decision to overturn Roe v. Wade.
Claire Gustafson, Norcross's opponent for New Jersey's first Congressional District in the November election, saw things differently.
Norcross said that "the decision by conservative justices on the Supreme Court to allow states to roll back the rights of women is disgraceful."

He also said that opinions regarding women's health are not judicial matters, they are a woman and her doctor's matters.
Norcross added that the U.S. Supreme Court's decision "will [also] harm women across the United States, particularly poor and working-class women, by taking away their most basic human right: The right to control their own bodies."

Gustafson took a different point of view.
"I have said many times that I do not believe in abortion as a form of birth control," she told Patch. "As to Roe v. Wade being overturned, I believe the issue should have always been up to the individual states, this decision does exactly that."
