Five Things to Do in Collingswood This Week: 12/10/12 to 12/15/12
Loads of family Christmas events are on tap in the borough this week, including the annual Parade of Lights—which starts at 7:30 tonight!
1. Collingswood Community Chorus Concert
Tuesday, Dec. 11 at 7:28 p.m.—Scottish Rite Auditorium
Directed by Dale Carey, the Collingswood Community Chorus will present its free, annual "Come On, It's Christmas!" performance.
"The 50-voice chorus will present an evening filled with favorite songs of the season that you learned as a child, some brand new music of the holidy that you may not know yet, and old standards with brand new arrangements."

2. 12/12/12 Special at Dig This

3. My Christmas Wish
Dec. 13-15, 20-22 at 7 p.m.; Dec. 16, 23 at 3 p.m.—Collings-Knight House
Move throughout the Collings-Knight House and enjoy readings of Christmas stories like 'Twas the Night Before Christmas, "Yes, Virginia, There is a Santa Claus,” and Charles Dickens’ A Christmas Carol. Tickets are $15, $10 for seniors and $5 for children younger than 5. Infants are welcome and free; note that the venue does not accommodate strollers. The performance involves climbing stairs.
4. Parade of Lights
Friday, Dec. 14, 7:30-9 p.m.—Haddon Avenue from Zane to Homestead
"Fire trucks and floats strung in glittering lights will drive from Zane Ave. to Homestead Ave....as Collingswood’s Fire Department and civic organizations will come decorated and ready to represent their groups.
"Trucks will compete for top honors and prizes. Santa will follow on the last truck to greet children and spectators and send season’s greetings."

5. Last Day of Fire Department Toy Drive
Saturday, Dec. 15—Collingswood Fire Department
Help the Collingswood Fire Department provide a magical Christmas by dropping off new, unwrapped toys for families in need at the firehouse (20 W. Collings Avenue) until December 15.
