Halloween Fun This Weekend In Collingswood
Find a cookie scavenger hunt, Edgar Allen Poe masquerade, and trunk-or-treat around Collingswood this Halloween weekend.
COLLINGSWOOD, NJ — As October draws to a close and jack-o-lanterns show their smiles around the neighborhood, check out some Halloween events in Camden County and around Collingswood.
Trick-or-treat in Collingswood is on Monday night. There are events throughout the weekend, sponsored by local groups or businesses, to celebrate Halloween with neighbors.
This may be one of those years when kids won't have to layer extra shirts and pants to keep warm during trick-or-treat. Temperatures should be in the mid-to-upper 60s around South Jersey through the weekend, with overnight lows dipping into the 40s on Friday and Saturday, and staying in the 50s on Sunday and Monday evening. Trick-or-treaters may have to contend with rain on Monday, too.

As Poe himself put it “There are chords in the hearts of the most reckless which cannot be touched without emotion.” And thusly we invite the reckless party folk of the world to attend our most auspicious event this October the 30th. Attend Prospero’s masquerade ball and partake in a carnival of excess, intrigue, hedonism, and despair this Halloween season at the Collingswood Grand Ballroom.
Guests are entreated to an evening of interactive theater, cabaret, and horror straight from the twisted minds of the immortal Edgar Allan Poe and horror writer Frank Horror. Behold seven rooms of macabre actors and activities. Taste the finest cuisine provided by our local gourmet chef. Witness the finest offering of performers we can provide. Engage in the darkest depths of humanity and highest reaches of pleasure.
Our seven rooms include:
-A stoic art gallery of local creators from Jersey, Philly, and beyond
-A serene solarium with a champagne wall for those who know how to acquire it
-A kinky dungeon for those who want to watch or play
-Our most grandiose ballroom offering performers and actors alike
-The bacchanalian performance space and liquor cellar
-The rambunctious betting parlor where you can wheel and deal to get ahead in the game
-The memorial black room where you can unlock mysteries of the evening and honor those who have passed
Featuring:
Minnie d’Moocha (burlesque performer)
Commedia dell’Arte Actors
Variety Performers from the World Over
Actors from the renowned Without a Cue
And Foxworth Vorn as Prospero
We request that you attend in your best masquerade attire in the style of a Venetian Carnivale goer or finest cocktail attire.
