More College Field Hockey Honors For Collingswood HS Alum
Rachel Galante has been named the NJAC's Offensive Player of the Week four times this season.

COLLINGSWOOD, NJ - Rachel Galante has been named the New Jersey Athletic Conference’s (NJAC) Field Hockey Offensive Player of the Week four times this season, according to Rowan University.
Galante, a Collingswood High School alum from Mount Laurel, earned her most recent distinction last week. Teammate Kristiina Castagnola (fr. Voorhees, NJ/Eastern Reg.) was the Rookie of the Week, and goalie Morgan Novak (jr. Jackson, NJ/Jackson Mem.) was named the conference’s Defensive Player of the Week.
Galante, a senior, paced the Profs with two goals in the conference championship tournament. She had one goal against Stockton University (3-0) and The College of New Jersey (2-0) to win the NJAC title. She leads the team with 26 goals and 60 points.

In the two victories, Novak compiled eight saves. She turned away seven shots versus TCNJ. Novak has stopped 70 shots for an 83.3 save percentage, and she has a 0.73 goals against average.
Castagnola scored a goal in the 3-0 win over Stockton. She has contributed with 28 points, 12 goals and four assists.
Rowan is undefeated with a 20-0 record and will host second and third round games of the NCAA Division III Championship Tournament on Saturday and Sunday, Nov. 17 and 18.
