New Jersey's plastic bag ban starts just after midnight on Wednesday.
COLLINGSWOOD, NJ – The majority of people in the Garden State have no problem with the plastic bag ban that takes effect just after midnight on Wednesday.
A recent Monmouth University poll of 802 New Jersey adults conducted at the end of March and beginning of April found 61% of New Jersey residents support a plastic bag ban.
However, far fewer may completely understand the ban and all its components. The same poll showed 33% have heard a lot about the ban and 37% have heard a little about it.
