Oaklyn Youth Sports Clubhouse Burglarized

Police are seeking any information from the public that could help resolve the incident.

Oaklyn police are working to identify the culprits behind a burglary and theft at the Oaklyn Cougars Youth Athletic Association club house.

At some point between Tuesday and 6 p.m. Wednesday, the snack stand at the club house on West Cedar Avenue in OaklynΒ was entered forcibly, according to a statement released by Oaklyn Police Chief Joseph Abbate.

Taken from within was an undisclosed amount of money as well as items sold by the youth sports league.

Some physical evidence left behind at the scene has been sent to the New Jersey State Police lab for investigation, Abbate’s statement noted, but police are still seeking any information regarding the incident.Β
