Police Searching For Man After Deadly Stabbing In Bridgeton
Authorities said Kenneth D. Tripline of Philadelphia is wanted for murder in connection with the Tuesday stabbing.

BRIDGETON, NJ — Authorities are searching for a Philadelphia man accused of fatally stabbing a Bridgeton resident after breaking into his home, according to police.
Kenneth D. Tripline, 36, is wanted for murder and weapons offenses in the Tuesday night death of 28-year-old Elliot Q. Handy, Bridgeton police said in a news release.
According to authorities, police responded to a home in the 100 block of South Avenue around 9:45 p.m. after receiving a call about a person trying to kick in the door. When police arrived, they found Handy suffering from stab wounds to the torso.

Handy was taken to Regional Medical Center in Vineland, where he later died.
Tripline fled the scene following the stabbing, police said. He remains at large and is considered armed and dangerous.

Police said the stabbing appeared to be an isolated incident and that the suspect and victim knew each other.
