Springsteen to Headline NBC Telethon for Sandy Victims

This Friday, NBCUniversal will broadcast “Hurricane Sandy: Coming Together," a one-hour concert to benefit the victims of Post-Tropical Cyclone Sandy.

Christina Aguilera, Jon Bon Jovi, Billy Joel, Sting and New Jersey native son Bruce Springsteen will headline the telethon, which airs from 8 to 9 p.m. The show will be hosted by NBC Today anchor Matt Lauer, and broadcast from the NBC studio at 30 Rockefeller Plaza.

The Huffington Post reports that money raised will go to the Red Cross to provide survivors with the basics.
