Them's Fightin' Words, Those Are Handcuffs

Gloucester Township Police said a Collingswood man attempted to fight an officer—the suspect lost.

A Collingswood man’s attempted fisticuffs ended in handcuffs after he allegedly tried to fight a Gloucester Township Police officer Thursday night.

Police said an intoxicated Alfred T. Kee Jr., 43, of the White Horse Pike, stood outside a home on the 500 block of Seneca Court shouting at residents and refusing to leave the property. Officer Nicholas Aumendo arrived around 10 p.m. and attempted to calm Kee, who police said was uncooperative and displaying aggressive behavior.

Kee charged Aumendo, police said, and the officer pushed the man away. Then Kee got into fighting stance and “told the officer that he better call for backup,” police said.
