A Cranford Radio episode from 2014 to mark the end of an era in broadcasting.
August 26 will be the end of a New York area broadcasting institution, WCBS Newsradio 880. To mark the occasion, I'm sharing an interview I did in 2014 with Cranford resident, Tom Kaminski. For 36 years Tom flew over the metropolitan area not just reporting traffic but also being an eyewitness to history. His broadcasts on the morning of 9/11 were among the first eyewitness reports of what happened at the World Trade Center. We talk about that, and much more, in this three part episode.
