Cranford Football Wins First Home Game

Donovan Walker, Luke Christiano each score touchdowns in victory.


The Cranford football team posted its first win on Friday night as the team defeated Somerville, 20-14, at Memorial Field.

The Cougars held a 20-7 lead at halftime, after Donovoan Walker scored the first touchdown for the team in the first quarter. In the second quarter, Luke Christiano broke a 42-yard run for a touchdown and caught a 38-yard touchdown pass from John Oblachinski, according to NJ.com.

The team takes on Summit (away) on Sept. 27 at 7 p.m.
