Cranford Mayor Addresses Plywood, Graffiti On South Ave Building
The Mayor called the graffiti a "totally unacceptable response" to the dismissal of an application because of escrow deficiency.
CRANFORD, NJ — If you've walked along South Ave West, you might have noticed some strange graffiti on one of the buildings. Cranford Mayor Kathleen Miller Prunty addressed the graffiti in a message on Facebook.
Plywood is up on the building at 24 South Ave West and graffiti showing skulls with an X over them and the words "Don't walk in front" is scrawled across. The Mayor called the graffiti a "totally unacceptable response" to the dismissal of an application because of escrow deficiency.
The township property maintenance official, building official and zoning officer were all notified as well as the fire inspector.
