Cranford Theater Starting Ticket Sales Ahead Of Long-Awaited Reopening
A ceiling issue closed the Theater on April 30.

CRANFORD, NJ — Staff at the Cranford Theater are beginning to sell tickets this week for their reopening after a partial ceiling collapse earlier this year, owner Doreen Sayegh said.
The Theater is scheduled to resume showing movies in late November and have its Pajama Party Series in December. The first slate of ticketed movies includes "Wicked: For Good," "Zootopia 2," and "Rental Family."
The space is now being reworked into a multi-use community space. Management says film festivals, comedy shows, live music, book readings, and more will join the regular movie showings.

First responders arrived on April 30 and found an active ceiling collapse in the theater, which was open and operational at the time. Everyone had already escaped safely, and no injuries were reported.
The reason for the collapse is still unclear. Patch has reached out for more information.
