Fire Me Up! Studio Opens on N. Union Avenue

The studio offers pottery painting, glass fusing and clay hand building.

The new contemporary ceramics studio, Fire Me Up!, opened its doors this Tuesday on N. Union Avenue.

Fall registration is ongoing for 8-week classes offered for children, as well as a class for adults. Check out the schedule for a description of classes.

The grand opening will be held on Sept. 21 from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. featuring breakfast treats, balloons, face painting and more. On Sept. 26, the studio will host a "Ladies Night" from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m.

Drop-ins are always welcome at Fire Me Up! With the purchase of any pottery item, you are given free range to decorate. Glass fusing and clay hand building is also available. So far, the studio already has several parties booked.

Owner Tammie Crispino said opening day was full of excitement. The support of the community was overwhelming, she said. Crispino is looking forward to being a part of the creativity done at the studio.

Check back with Cranford Patch on Thursday as we take a further look into the studio.
