Massage Studio Opens in Cranford (Video)

If you're in the mood for a serious back rub, you won't have to go much farther than Downtown Cranford. This past weekend saw the opening of the Elements massage studio on North Avenue West. Hot stone massages, reflexology and special massages for pregnancy are among the plethora of offerings.

The business is a franchise location run by a Parsippany based entrepreneur and will have 11 licensed massage therapists on staff. The location is co-owned by Steve Mandel and his daughter-in-law, Sherry. "It's definitely a family partnership. The owner of the business is Mandel Ventures," said Steve.

The 1, 950 square foot space fits about half a dozen massage rooms, each with names, such as star, fire and other names representing the elements of nature. The location is expected to have a grand opening ribbon-cutting in a few weeks, according to Mandel.
