Report: Cranford Man, 43, Killed in Newark Crash
The Star-Ledger reports that a Cranford man died after his vehicle flipped over at a city intersection on Sunday.

Newark Police said a Cranford man died after being discovered in an overturned vehicle in the early hours of Sunday morning, according to a report. Police are investigating the crash, which is not believed to be a criminal matter, according to the Star-Ledger.
The cause of the one-car crash is unknown and authorities have not yet released the name of the 43-year-old victim.
Overall, motor vehicle fatalities are this year according to information released by the New Jersey State police.

Statewide, fatal traffic accidents have fallen 43.1 percent compared with this time last year, according to the NJSP. Last year, N.J. recorded 51 traffic fatalities compared with 29, state police reported.
