Do Not Want Solicitors? Sign Up For East Brunswick’s Do Not Knock Registry

The "Do Not Knock" registry does not apply to political, social, or religious groups

EAST BRUNSWICK, NJ – If you do not want door-to-door salespeople disturbing your peace and quiet, you now have a way to prevent them from knocking at your door.

The Township and police department are reminding residents that they have the option to be relieved from unsolicited or non-subscribed, printed commercial material at their residence, by signing up for the ‘Do Not Knock” registry.

Pursuant to Township Code 135-23.2, this includes general solicitations, hawking, inquiries, and general disturbances from commercial solicitors, itinerant peddlers, hawkers, and canvassers.
