EAST BRUNSWICK, NJ — The East Brunswick Public Library will be hosting a Holi celebration on Sunday, from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m.

Holi is an Indian festival of colors, celebrated to mark the arrival of spring. Hindus across the world mark the festival with colors, food, music and dance.

The fun-filled afternoon at the library will include performances, kids crafts, food and more.

There will be items for purchase from the vendors.

Here's the schedule of events:

  • 1 p.m. - 3 p.m.: Kids Craft
  • 1:30 p.m. - 2:30 p.m.: Performances
  • 3 p.m. - 4 p.m.: Dhol & Outdoor Color Play

All color play will be held on the lawn behind the library. Powder colors will be provided while supplies last. Attendees must only use colors provided by the library.

Attendees who participate in color play will not be allowed to re-enter the building.
