Solomon describes himself as a teacher, fitness instructor, and choreographer

“Growing up as one of the only minorities in his graduating class of over 700, Phillip learned to embrace standing out, striving to be the best in every arena he enters,” according to his profile on NBC.

Solomon currently lives in Austin, Texas. He graduated from East Brunswick High School in 2004 and in 2009 graduated from Fairleigh Dickinson University.

He was also one of the original members and former director of the East Brunswick Young Adult Charity Players – a youth-run, theatre nonprofit organization that operated for about 15 years.

With his mix of intellect, charisma, and resilience, he’s ready to bring the heat to the island,” his bio says.

Hosted by Joe Manganiello, "Deal or No Deal Island" is aired on Tuesdays at 9 p.m. on NBC. It is available to stream the next day on Peacock, NBC’s YouTube Chanel, and NBC.com.
