How Many Inches Of Snow Will East Brunswick Get, And When?
The Township has enforced parking prohibitions as a snowstorm is expected to hit the area.
EAST BRUNSWICK, NJ — It's already started to snow in New Jersey, but forecasters expect much more to come Friday night into Saturday.
East Brunswick could be in for a lot of snow, but predictions vary. The National Weather Service has placed East Brunswick under a winter storm warning from Friday, 7 p.m. to Saturday, 7 p.m. Total snow accumulations of 4 to 11 inches is expected with winds gust as high as 35 mph.
Travel could be very difficult to impossible, said the National Weather Service.

The Township has parking prohibitions in place during this time. No vehicle is to be parked on any street, avenue or highway of East Brunswick.
The parking prohibitions remain in effect after the snowstorm ends and until the streets have been plowed sufficiently, to ensure that parking will not interfere with the normal flow of traffic.

Here's the National Weather Service's forecast for East Brunswick:
- Friday: A chance of snow. Cloudy, with a high near 35. Calm wind becoming north around 5 mph. Chance of precipitation is 50 percent. Total daytime snow accumulation of less than a half-inch possible.
- Friday night: Snow. Low around 18. North wind 5 to 10 mph increasing to 10 to 15 mph after midnight. Winds could gust as high as 25 mph. Chance of precipitation is 90 percent. New snow accumulation of 3 to 5 inches is possible.
- Saturday: Snow, mainly before 4 pm. High near 24. Blustery, with a north wind around 20 mph, with gusts as high as 35 mph. Chance of precipitation is 90 percent. New snow accumulation of 3 to 5 inches is possible.
- Saturday night: A chance of snow before 7 p.m. Mostly cloudy, then gradually becoming mostly clear, with a low around 10. Wind chill values as low as -3. Blustery, with a northwest wind 15 to 20 mph. Chance of precipitation is 30 percent. New snow accumulation of less than a half-inch possible.
- Sunday: Sunny, with a high near 28. West wind 5 to 10 mph.
- Sunday night: Mostly cloudy, with a low around 12.
