Introducing Comics Plus

East Brunswick Public Library cardholders can now access thousands of titles whenever they want online without any holds, wait lists or limits.

The library now offers the service Comics Plus. This allows library cardholders to access thousands of digital comics, graphic novels and manga on demand from their computer, tablet or smartphone.

"Our library users are always asking us for more comics and manga," said Dana Vocht, a children's librarian at East Brunswick Public Library. "The new Comics Plus service allows us to provide them with a ton of material. There is so much we now offer, different genres, age levels and books that we wouldn't normally be able to add to our collection."

A wide variety of publishers are featured on the service, including Image Comics, Tokyo Pop, Fantagraphics and Scholastic. The collection is divided into three segments: childrens, teens and the full collection.

Full collection access is limited to adult East Brunswick Public Library cardholders only, as some titles may contain content not suitable for younger readers.

For those accessing Comics Plus on their smartphone or tablet, there are apps available in the Apple App Store and on Google Play
