Have you ever been told you have a great voice for a podcast or radio? East Brunswick Public Library (2 Jean Walling Civic Center) hosts a workshop for aspiring voiceover actors on November 15 at 7: 00 pm in the library’s recording studio.
Led by professional voiceover actor Dennis Connors, the workshop shows how people get started in the voiceover world, an overview of the industry, the tools to begin the journey, and some practice voice work.
Connors grew up in Sayreville, NJ and is a proud member of the Actor’s Equity Association. He is also the founder of NextGen Acting. He is best known for his role as Magnus in the most downloaded family audio drama podcast of all time, Six Minutes, his role as Kyle in the 2021 horror-slasher film, The Canyonlands, and as “Thumbs-Up Jim” in the national Fire House Subs commercial. Other voice-over credits include: Heineken, Maryland Lotto, Arevo, B&M Baked Beans, Ars Paradoxica, and Forensic News.
