At the YMCA we seek to fulfill seniors needs as we help address food insecurity, exercise, general wellness with grant funded programs, scholarships, and the acceptance of insurance programs that cover your YMCA dues. As January brings health insurance renewals, now is the time to see if you qualify through Silver Sneakers, Silver and Fit or Renew Active.
The Raritan Valley YMCA (www.raritanvalleyymca.org) has teamed up with the Middlesex County Office of Aging & Disabled Services at 732-745-3295 to increase public awareness of services and opportunities for county seniors, the disabled, and their care givers.

For food insecurity, senior support, screenings, exercise or wellness programs, contact the YMCA for information at 732-257-4114.Seniors are also welcome to come by the Y to pick up a food box and get on the produce list.
Those over 65 may also check their supplemental plan to see if it provides free access to the Y (Silver Seniors or Silver & Fit).The Y is located at 144 Tices Lane in East Brunswick and offers private work out rooms, a general fitness center, and senior exercise classes.
